BioImaging Laboratory is a state-of-the-art research unit offering unique capabilities in the field of preclinical biomedical imaging. We are one of the few centers in Europe equipped with a high-field (7 T) hybrid MRI/PET scanner (Bruker BioSpec Maxwell, 70/17), integrated with positron emission tomography. In addition, we have advanced confocal microscopy systems, including the Leica Stellaris 8 WLL with a Light-Sheet module, and the Celvizio Dual Band confocal endomicroscope. This allows us to provide imaging from the subcellular level to a complete functional view of the organism.

LO offers services in optical microscopy, MRI imaging, and PET imaging; both structural and functional studies. We also assist in the implementation and customization of advanced animal models of lifestyle and age-related diseases. We offer researchers access to cutting-edge in vivo optogenetics techniques, combined with fMRI. Our unique combination of advanced infrastructure and experienced research staff enables the realization of complex research projects in neurobiology, oncology, and other areas of biomedicine.
