The system is equipped with 4 lasers, allowing for the analysis of 15 colours with the following filter arrangements:

• violet laser (405 nm: 450/45, 525/40, 610/20, 660/10, 720/60)
• blue laser (488 nm: 525/40, 690/50)
• yellow-green laser (561 nm: 585/42, 610/20, 675/30, 710/50, 710/50, 780/60)
• red laser (638 nm: 660/10, 712/25, 780/60)

In addition to the standard SSC/FSC measurement module, the sorter is equipped with a VSSC module for the detection of objects >100-200 nm.

To ensure quality and appropriate aseptic conditions, the sorter is housed in a laminar chamber (BSL-2). It is also equipped with a cooling module.

The sorter allows 4-way sorting of up to four 5 ml tubes or two 15 ml tubes. It also allows sorting onto slides, dishes and multi-well plates (6-384 wells, including single cell per well mode).
