Laboratory equipment:

• xCELLigence RTCA Cardio system for the analysis of induced pluripotent cardiomyocytes derived from stem cells – enables comprehensive testing of compound cardiotoxicity. The device is recommended for use as part of the “Comprehensive In Vitro Proarrhythmia Assay” – an innovative screening initiative for the estimation of proarrhythmic activity, recommended by, among others: FDA, EMA, Health and Environmental Sciences Institute, Safety Pharmacology Society, etc.

• Leica DMi8 microscope – dedicated to work with all available observation techniques. Additional equipment in the form of a TokaiHit tabletop incubator allows you for acquisition of changes occurring in cells in the real time.

• Synergy H1 multi-well plate reader with dispenser enables for working with fluorescence, luminescence and absorbance mode. The dispenser module allows dosing of solutions in the range of 5-1000µl.

• In addition, the laboratory is equipped with the infrastructure necessary to conduct work using cellular models, including: Laminar chambers, cell culture incubators, centrifuges.
