The laboratory uses devices based on various forms of detection, i.e.: radiometric, absorbance, fluorescence, luminescence, bioluminescence, including detection in AlphaScreen, AlphaLISA, FRET, TR-FRET technology.
The Radioisotope and Functional Analysis Laboratory is equipped with:
- Radioisotopic research platform (scintillation counters, manual and automatic filtration devices) – a fundamental tool for radioisotopic methods used to study the affinity of drug candidates for biological targets and their impact on cellular processes.
- Automated cell imaging system – enabling multiparametric image analysis using high-content screening (HCS) technology.
- Surface Plasmon Resonance Microscopy (SPRM) system – allowing the determination of ligand-receptor binding affinity and kinetics, supporting preclinical drug discovery processes.
- Monolith Pico Red system – operating based on MicroScale Thermophoresis (MST) technology, facilitating the study of complex intermolecular interactions through direct analysis of interactions between two or more molecules.
