The Glycomics Laboratory specializes in the study of glycosylation in biological systems. We are open to collaboration with scientific institutions and commercial entities. We offer consultancy in planning glycobiological experiments and comprehensive analytical support.
Currently, we provide analysis of protein N-glycosylation using modern liquid chromatography and mass spectrometry techniques. Depending on the specifics of scientific projects, we propose a comprehensive analytical approach based on current standards, starting from glycans profiling using UPLC chromatography and determining so-called glucose units (GU), through high-throughput glycan screening by MALDI-TOF mass spectrometry, and finally detailed qualitative analyses using UPLC-MS/MS and MALDI-ToF/ToF methods.
We analyze biological samples of various origins (cell/tissue homogenates, culture media, and body fluids). Additionally, we study glycosylation profiles of individual proteins isolated from biological material using biochemical and/or immunological methods. Finally, we have experience analyzing the N-glycosylation of biopharmaceuticals (e.g., monoclonal antibodies – mABs).
We will soon introduce to our portfolio MALDI ionization spectrometric imaging (MALDI-MSI) of glycans in tissue preparations, using the RapifleX system from Bruker.
